Thank You Volunteers
NAMIQN’s Volunteer Thank You Celebration was a Success!
Our Executive Director Robert Keller kicked off the evening highlighting how vital volunteers are to our organization, without our 50+ active volunteers none of our programs could function. He mentioned the endless hours our Committees spend on events like our Advocacy Day in September, or the work of our Criminal Justice Committee rewriting and updating our website resources pages. And the dedication of our leaders for Family-to-Family, Basic, and Peer-to-Peer classes starting in September are all taught by Volunteers.
Co-Presidents Angela Babaev and David Sills both spoke eloquently about their personnel experiences and how NAMI has played an important role in their journey, which is why working with NAMI is so important to them and their families. Jeremy Israel and Melanie Singh also shared their feelings about NAMI and why volunteering as Peer-to-Peer Mentors and helping with Unites our new Socialization Program is so important.
Pictured are some of our Speakers and Volunteers receiving Certificates of Appreciation and Flowers! Thank you all.
